Mexico and Saudi Arabia have joined the list of teams saying goodbye to the 2022 World Cup, which is currently taking place in Qatar and will continue until December 18.
So far, 9 teams have officially said goodbye to the World Cup, namely Qatar, Canada, Ecuador, Iran, Wales, Tunisia, Denmark, Mexico and Saudi Arabia.
Qatar and Canada were invited to the World Cup from the second round after being defeated in the first two rounds and losing all hope of qualification.
The Ecuador national team said goodbye to the World Cup after losing to Senegal by two goals to one, stopping at 4 points in third place in the first group standings.
Iran and Wales also called the tournament after losing to the United States and England at the end of the group stage in the first and second groups.
Tunisia joined the deposited teams, despite their historic victory over France, but their points did not do justice to their passage, as well as the Danish team, after losing to Australia with a clear goal, to remain one point from the tournament.
The Mexican national team said goodbye to the tournament, despite the great victory over Saudi Arabia with two clear goals, but the goal difference eliminated them from the World Cup, accompanied by Saudi Arabia.
