Qatar Stock Exchange Gains for 13th Session in a Row, Nearing 11,000 Points

Doha – Mubasher: Qatar Stock Exchange closed trading today, Sunday, in green for the thirteenth session in a row, close to the level of 11,000 points, with the support of 3 sectors.

The general index increased by 0.54%, to 10953.92 points, gaining 59.33 points from last Thursday’s level.

The session witnessed an increase in 3 sectors, led by industries by 1.46%, while 4 sectors fell, led by transport by 0.95%.

At the level of stocks, the price of 23 stocks led by “Qamco” increased by 4.33%, while the price of 25 stocks led by “Qatar and Oman” decreased by 9.81%, and the price of 4 stocks stabilized.

Qamco share also provided trading activity at all levels, with a volume of 53.52 million shares, and a liquidity of 71.77 million riyals, distributed over 2.14 thousand transactions.

Trading declined today, as liquidity reached 393.11 million riyals, compared to 617.34 million riyals in last Thursday’s session, and trading volumes reached 197.86 million shares, compared to 244.67 million shares in the previous session.
