Putin Embarks on Important China Visit,Signaling Deepening Ties and Geopolitical Alignment
Beijing,China – Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to visit China from August 31st to September 3rd,a trip Kremlin officials are characterizing as unusually extensive and strategically important.Teh visit will encompass attendance at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Tianjin and commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japan in Beijing.
According to Yuri Ushakov, Putin’s advisor on international affairs, the Russian leader will be accompanied by a substantial delegation – including three deputy prime ministers, over a dozen ministers, heads of federal departments, and representatives from key Russian enterprises. Ushakov noted the length of the visit is “rare,” underscoring the meaning Moscow places on strengthening its relationship with Beijing.
