Putin also congratulates Larry King… “Show me the best professional spirit”

-Russian President Vladimir Putin also expressed condolences on the news of Larry King’s death on the 23rd (local time).

According to the Tas news agency, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, “(President Putin and King) met several times. King interviewed President Putin several times.”

He added, “President Putin appreciated his best professionalism and his reputation as an undoubted journalist.”

King died while being hospitalized at the Sedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on that day. He is a legendary person who has won the’Peabody Award’ twice. King recently hosted a program called’Larry King Now’ at Russia’s state-run Russia Today (RT).

Margarita Simonyan, head of the RT news agency, told the news of King’s death via Telegram, “It’s a huge loss. King is the legend of world TV broadcasting and is the most famous person.”
