A stabbing incident took place at Isendoorn College in Warnsveld on Friday afternoon. One student from the school was slightly injured.

According to rector Erwin Lutteke, the incident happened at the end of the afternoon. “Two boys from outside came to our schoolyard and they also visited the school. Then they walked out with a student of ours and they seemed to know each other. ”

Fight
Then things went wrong in the schoolyard. “Apparently there has been an incident which caused a quarrel. Ultimately, our student was injured in the hand. ”

“That was a bit of a shock”, says Lutteke. The police were subsequently called in by the school. “Our first concern, of course, went to the student, who is connected by the caretaker. The injuries seemed to be okay, but he went to see the doctor just to be sure. The pupil’s parents also went to school. ”

According to Lutteke there is a perpetrator in the picture. “But exactly how that works, the police know. We have cameras in the playground that have recorded everything. ”

According to the rector, not many students were present at the time of the incident. “It was late afternoon, but no doubt there will be some students who saw it. We will also discuss this with the students on Monday. ”

A police spokesperson was able to confirm the incident on Friday evening, but provide no further information about it.
