Public health France partner of the 1st Hackathon to fight together against COVID-19

The various waves of the COVID-19 epidemic have seen the mobilization of an ecosystem of very active public and private actors which has resulted in the creation of new resources and services popular with the general public. Initiated by civil society actors and organized with the support of the Interministerial Directorate for Public Transformation as part of the “open government” mechanism, a Hackathon 48 hours of design and development is organized on April 23 and 24, 2021.

The objective of this hackathon is to strengthen the tools and solutions offered to French people in the face of the pandemic. Public Health France, partner of the event, participates in this ecosystem by making its data available through the 148 indicators available in open data on its mapping platform Geodes. On this occasion, Laetitia Huiart, Scientific Director of Public Health France will make an intervention.

This Hackathon is open to all those who, with an idea, a skill, a know-how or a curiosity for data related to Covid-19, wish to work to create common solutions to fight against the pandemic.
