Psychologists from Chartres Hospitals called to go on strike from June 9 to 11

The CGT union of hospital workers in Chartres has filed a strike notice which concerns the establishment’s psychologists. The movement is due to start on Wednesday June 9 from 6 p.m. and will continue until Friday June 11 at 8 a.m.

This protest movement is part of a national action by several federations of psychologists entitled “June 10 appeal”.

In its strike notice sent to management, the CGT union office of the hospitaliers of Chartres lists a number of demands mainly relating to wages and employment.

“Direct public access to consultations with psychologists”

The staff will mobilize in particular to demand “a salary increase in the index grid for hospital public service psychologists, including recognition of the doctorate”.

These professionals also demand “direct public access to consultations with psychologists” in hospitals or even “the reduction of precariousness and incomplete time”
