PSV keeper Van Osch sustains a serious injury shortly after his return | NOW

PSV player Yanick van Osch won’t play for the rest of this season. The 22-year-old reserve keeper, who only made his comeback last month after a serious knee injury, broke his wrist during training.

“It was really bad luck, one of the last balls of a training session,” says Van Osch on the PSV site on Monday.

“I am only just fit again after a serious knee injury, so this is a huge disappointment for me personally. I will not be taking action this season, that is for sure.”

De Brabander tore off a cruciate ligament in his knee at a training camp in Qatar last January. He played his first game again on behalf of Young PSV in the Keuken Kampioen Division a month ago.

Van Osch, who still has a contract in Eindhoven until next summer, is still waiting for his debut for the first PSV team. He has already played fifty games for Jong PSV. The German Lars Unnerstall is the first goalkeeper of the current number four of the Eredivisie.
