The topic of Neymar is boiling up again – and will probably keep the industry busy for some time. Paris Saint-Germain apparently wants to get rid of its exceptional player. Neymar’s Brazil team-mate Thiago Silva already sees him playing for Chelsea.

On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain officially announced that they had chosen a new shirt sponsor. By the way, this is called – who would have thought it – Qatar Airways. The associated introduction campaign adorns a number of stars – including the draft horses Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar. With the latter, however, things have been crunching for a long time.

The 30-year-old should not really feel loved by the French permanent champion, it was said a few days ago. The brusque statements by club boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi, which he recently launched, are likely to be responsible for this.

In Spain, the web is now being spun further. According to El Pais daily, Neymar would accept the sale decision allegedly conveyed to him by PSG – but only on one condition: he is not willing to give up his whopping 40 million salary.

After all, he was guaranteed that until 2027. Neymar’s contract is set to be extended early for that period on July 1. He would still be tied to the club for five years. PSG would be willing to continue paying part of the salary should Neymar agree to a split. His dream destination is FC Barcelona.

Thiago Silva sees Neymar at Chelsea

In recent times, however, clubs such as Juventus Turin or some participants in the Premier League have also been traded as potential buyers. Thiago Silva, who was Neymar’s team-mate at PSG for three years and still plays with the superstar in Brazil national team, has an idea.

Thiago Silva said during a sponsorship event in Recife: “Neymar has to go to Chelsea. If that happens it would be a great thing. He doesn’t need to speak. I don’t know anything at the moment but I hope it will happen.”
