Sony still has not presented its own panels for PlayStation 5, thanks to which we could refresh the look of the next-generation console, but it turns out that players can freely decorate the equipment. The Japanese manufacturer confirmed an important detail about the warranty.

Even before the premiere of the PS5, information about additional panels for the Sony console appeared. The Japanese still haven’t presented the kits yet the corporation blocks the possibility of selling products prepared by external companies.
However, players are happy to pull panels and completely change the look of the PlayStation 5. Now, however, we can confirm an important detail – PS5 personalization does not affect the warranty. Players can send a broken console with painted parts back to the manufacturer and only may not receive their parts:
“Please remember that removing and painting the panels does not void the warranty of the console, as long as the serial number and seal are still visible / intact. Please note that if you need to repair your console in the future and send it back to us, we cannot guarantee that you will receive these painted panels. “
This is really good news, because although we could have expected that the corporation would not make any problems on this topic, it is worth having such a confirmation. In fact, Sony allowed for the removal of panels from PlayStation 5 for a reason – the representatives of the Japanese giant had to be sure that players would be eager to refresh the appearance of the PS5.
