PS5 media apps officially unveiled

But offer, but we are missing something

Sony has therefore announced which entertainment apps the PlayStation 5 will have at launch. The offer is large and largely as expected. Sony has announced that Apple TV, Disney +, Netflix, Spotify, Twitch and YouTube will receive support from day one.

Amazon Prime, MyCanal, Hulu and Peacock are most likely also coming to the PS5 just probably not from day one.

Where’s HBO Max?

Unfortunately, there is a big name that is missing from the range. HBO Max launched this summer as a merger of HBO and HBO Go. Among other things, many productions from Warner Bros can be seen on this, but as it now seems, the PlayStation fans are pissing next to the pot.

What makes it even more painful is the fact that the PlayStation 4 does have HBO Max (in the United States). For the Dutch, the lack of this is therefore not such a big problem. HBO Max has never officially appeared as a streaming service in the Netherlands. Most of the offer can be seen via Ziggo Movies & Series XL.

Are you going for the Xbox Series or the Playstation 5?

After a long wait, we can finally enjoy new consoles again next month. The PlayStation 5 for just under 400 euros (without disk) or a little less than 500 (with disk). The Xbox Series S for less than 300 euros and the Xbox series X for 499 euros.
