The PS5 by youtuber Jeremy Penter has already gone KO, as explained by the content creator on his YouTube channel.
According to Penter, his console is “100% dead” despite having tried with Sony – who had provided him with a unit before launch – to restore it.
“I was having storage rebuilding problems that others had reported but mine crashed to complete errors and network / startup problems “, reads his tweet.
“Sony and I were working through troubleshooting when she died completely», he added disconsolately.

This is in fact the first reported case of a PS5 which went down with an operating system problem, apparently.
As explained by the youtuber, others in possession of a unit before launch would have had difficulty with the continuous restoration of memory, and it is not clear how widespread this problem is, nor if there are patches on day one to avoid it being encountered by players between tomorrow 12 and Thursday 19 November.
