PS5 and Xbox Series X are playing it in a recent poll

Although there has often been talk of sales forecasts they see PlayStation 5 ahead of Xbox Series X, a recent survey by John Linneman of Digital Foundry hints that public interest could be the same for both next-generation consoles.

The journalist asked users via a Twitter survey which was their favorite console between the two models PlayStation 5 (Digital Edition e Standard), Xbox Series S e Xbox Series X. Almost unexpectedly we can see that the disc player version of the PS5 and the Xbox Series X enjoy the same number of preferences and are both at the 43%. Definitely more difficult is the position of the other two models, since Series S is only interested in the 5% of voters while only the 9% consider purchasing PS5 Digital Edition.

It is not excluded that among the users who took part in the survey there are hardware and graphics enthusiasts (we are still talking about a Digital Foundry exponent) who, due to the considerable computing power of Xbox Series X, have decided to opt for the Microsoft console and not for the Sony one. In any case, the situation has plenty of time to reverse, since voting will remain open for a few more hours.

Regardless of the outcome of the survey, we remind you that the first confirmations of the increased public interest in the standard version of PlayStation 5, which has been booked many more times than the cheaper Digital Edition.
