JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – After being protested by the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil, Jasa Marga cancel the rate increase Cipularang toll road and Toll Padaleunyi. However Jasa Marga call it a toll discount.
In his press release, Jasa Marga admitted to getting responses and input from the public regarding enforcement toll rates for the Way Cipularang toll road-Padaleunyi at 00.00 WIB, Saturday (5/9/2020).
By considering these inputs Jasa Marga took the initiative to impose discounted rates for private vehicles (Category I).
“The discount applied is a discount rate for Group I. With this discount, road users of Class I pay the tariff according to the original amount before the tariff is adjusted (initial rate),” said Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head. Jasa Marga Dwimawan Heru, quoted from Tribunnews.
This discount rate starts at 00.00 WIB, Sunday (6/9/2020).
Meanwhile, for road users with Group II-V, the new tariff will still apply after being adjusted. Due to the new tariff adjustments for the Cipularang and Padaleunyi toll roads, there was a reduction in tariffs for Gol III and Gol V.
