Prosecutor and Norman Quijano face by prejudice | El Salvador News

“I don’t trust, I say it clearly, I don’t trust the Attorney General of the Republic,” Quijano said. He says he wants to defend himself in a prejudice in front of his colleagues to prove his “innocence” about accusation of dealing with gangs.

Deputy Norman Quijano said today that he will ask the commission to see his case of lawlessness to issue a favorable opinion to be able to face a prejudice in the legislative plenary.

Quijano said he did not give up the jurisdiction because he did not trust the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), Raul Melara.

The prosecutor stepped out of this statement by stating on Twitter that “do not confuse deputy Quijano. I am not looking for, nor am I interested in your trust. My agenda is justice. ”

“I do not trust, I say it clearly, I do not trust the Attorney General of the Republic and if there is reason to do so in a timely manner I will make some accusations against him”, said the deputy.

He added that if “they are subjecting me to a prejudice in an unfair way, nobody guarantees me that the law will be respected in court. I have not committed any crime. ”

“I still have a clear conscience,” Quijano said, before the investigation that he is being followed for allegedly giving money to the gangs so that they voted in his favor when he was a candidate for the presidency for ARENA.

“I, Norman Quijano, want to defend myself in the legislative plenary, before all the deputies, before all the parliamentary groups to demonstrate my total innocence,” said the sandman parliamentarian.

“I am going to ask the commission of legislation to issue a favorable opinion. I’m not afraid of a prejudice, I’m only afraid of God. I have a clear conscience. I attended a meeting between pastors, among those pastors was a criminal who recorded, ”Quijano explained.

“I said absolutely nothing that was not in Country Plan. I mentioned 100 million dollars for local governments, not for gangs. They were for social reintegration programs. I never spoke anything that was outside the law. I never offered anything to any gang or one group or another, ”he defended.

Then he ruled out that there was a new video or other audio that links him to gang negotiations.

“I spoke with pastors of my country plan and I will hold that until the last day of my life,” Quijano said.

43 votes are needed for Norman Quijano to face a prejudice and for the plenary to disagree or not, as the Prosecutor’s Office has requested in its investigation.
