Project CARS 3 will be released in summer 2020

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe and Slightly Mad Studios have now Project CARS 3 announced. The game will be released in summer 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via STEAM.

Project CARS 3 contains more than 200 road and racing cars from well-known brands as well as over 140 race tracks with 24-hour cycles, dynamic seasons and all-weather races. In addition, the game offers a variety of new functions, which should increase both the fun factor and the accessibility.

In the new career mode, players have their own racing team with exclusive racing cars for the first time. In order to upgrade their cars with authentic performance parts that have a realistic effect on handling and performance, the players have to master challenging races and fight for the top. In addition, for the first time there will be a wide range of customization options for the cars, including wheels, tires, rims and options for customizing the character.

Project CARS 3 should be the most accessible game in the series to do justice to all players regardless of ability. A completely newly developed controller experience, fully scalable assistants, a revised model for even more convincing and entertaining handling and a completely new first time user experience will enable everyone to fully experience the authenticity of racing. Also has Project CARS 3 about intensive crash effects, authentic car contact and improved AI, which ensure a real racing experience.

However, the question arises whether this balancing act between hardcore simulation and ease of entry is also approved by all fans. With the third part, the developers of Forza Motorsport will probably try to dig the water off a bit, let’s see if that works.
