The profit of the Central Bank (CBRT) for the year 2022 was 72 billion 22 million TL.
In the CBRT’s 2022 balance sheet published in the Official Gazette today, tax liabilities amounted to 22.3 billion TL for 2022.
The CBRT’s profit for the period in 2021 was 57.5 billion TL. During the earthquake donations, the CBRT donated 30 billion TL from its 2022 balance sheet profit.
The general assembly is held at the end of March every year, unless the bank takes an earlier decision with a separate decision. If the CBRT has not been delayed, within a few days following the general assembly, it transfers the profit of the previous year to the Treasury after the legal provisions are set.
The CBRT’s general assembly will be held on Tuesday next week.
