In the first match, Toros ended a losing streak by winning 16 runs to 6. Victory was set up by Juan Camilo España, who pitched an innings and a third, while Cesilio Pimentel (4.1) blamed the setback.
The Bulls fielded a 17-hit artillery, including two home runs by Robinson Cabrera and Guillermo Quintana.
The Tigers had seven hits with a home run off Ronaldo Hernández.
In the second game, Tigres left Toros 4-3 on the field.
Óscar Marcelino won the match and Ángel Luna lost.
The series which is 2-1 in favor of the “cats” ends this Sunday at 16:00 in Barranquilla.
In Montería, Caimanes de Barranquilla prevailed over the local Vaqueros 16-2 at the 18 de Junio stadium. With the victory of the Barranquilleros they tie this series 1-1 as Vaqueros had won 8-4 on Friday. Dewin Pérez won (1.0), while Eneury Olivo was the loser. Today they meet at 4 in the afternoon on the same stage.
