Landau / Sort.The Supervision and Service Directorate (ADD) Trier has initiated disciplinary proceedings against the controversial Landau teacher Myriam Kern. Since the end of August, the ADD has been checking whether Kern’s behavior at a right-wing demonstration in Berlin in 2018 and the multiple utterance of right-wing slogans made such a procedure necessary. Now an ADD lawyer has started processing, says a spokeswoman when asked.
“It will be legally checked whether there is a violation of the Federal Civil Service Act,” said the ADD spokeswoman. Kern – former AfD city councilor – had become known as the “voice of Kandel”. The teacher from the Nordring-Förderschule, who has meanwhile been exempted from teaching, organized demonstrations in which right-wing groups took part. How long the disciplinary proceedings will last cannot be foreseen yet, explains the ADD spokeswoman.
