A drunk inmate who did not return to prison after an exit volunteered at a police station in Gelsenkirchen. Early on Friday morning, the 53-year-old came to the federal police station in Gelsenkirchen’s main train station and said that he was wanted. At the time, the native Gladbeck had almost 1.3 per mille of alcohol in his blood. According to the federal police, it turned out that he is serving a one-year prison sentence for theft and insult, among other things. The rest of the year he will serve in the prison.
