Princess Laurentien is co-founder of the Alliance Child Poverty, which was established in March, in which ninety partners work together to solve child poverty. Next week a national promotion will start, starting in South Holland and ending on Saturday 17 October with a closing event in The Hague. Laurentien: “We are starting on 11 February with seven regional Public Poverty Child Poverty Academies with the aim of doing something together to combat child poverty. Municipalities, schools, civil society organizations, businesses and residents themselves: everyone can contribute.” Laurentien contributes to the regional meetings in the form of a video message.
The aim of the Child Poverty Alliance is to have a child poverty free Netherlands in 2030.
