Princess Beatrix, 83, is currently in home quarantine, where she adheres to all prescribed measures. “Persons who have been in close contact with Princess Beatrix have been informed,” the RVD said.
Boosterprik
It is not yet known where the 83-year-old Princess Beatrix contracted the infection. Last week, during her working visit to Curacao, she announced that she had had her booster shot. The complaints she experiences are ‘mild’ for the time being.
Birthday Amalia
Due to the positive corona test and its consequences, Princess Beatrix misses the eighteenth birthday of her granddaughter Amalia. The heir apparent will celebrate her birthday next Tuesday. But that has to be done without her grandmother, who is still in home quarantine.
Council of State
On Wednesday, one day after her eighteenth birthday, Amalia was appointed as a member of the Council of State. During this milestone she is accompanied by King Willem Alexander, and this important event also now takes place without Princess Beatrix.
