During his stay, Prince Harry attempted to visit a friend, but encountered a minor navigational challenge. According to a local family, the prince mistakenly knocked on their door not once, but three times before locating his friend’s residence.

Some neighbors found it odd that the prince seemed unsure of his destination. One neighbor observed that the houses he knocked on were at fully opposite ends of the road.

The prince’s visit coincided wiht his legal challenge against the home Office regarding his security arrangements. Harry lost his appeal last week, with the court stating that his grievance over downgraded security did not constitute a legal basis to challenge the decision.

Prince Harry believes he has been singled out and badly treated with unjustified, inferior treatment since stepping down from royal duties five years ago. His legal team argued that the absence of Met Police armed bodyguards puts his life at stake when he is in the U.K.

Vos acknowledged Harry’s feelings, saying, These were powerful and moving arguments and that it was plain the Duke of Sussex felt badly treated by the system. However, he concluded, I could not say that the Duke’s sense of grievance translated into a legal argument to challenge RAVEC’s decision.

The court also noted that Harry makes the mistake of confusing superficial analogies when comparing his situation to other VIPs. Ultimately, the appeal was dismissed, meaning that armed police bodyguards will not be automatically reinstated for the Sussex family when they are in the U.K.
