Prince Harry and Meghan Markle secretly recorded Their visit to New York For a rumored Netflix documentary about their lives, Page Six has learned.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took their videographer with them on their express trip this week, and he was seen escorting them into town. He ran past them as they exited ahead of a tour of the 9/11 memorial on Thursday morning.
They also brought in their own photographer, Matt Sayles, to document them, we confirmed.
Harry appeared to be carrying a microphone as he and his wife visited the famous Harlem Soul Melba restaurant on Friday. He had a thread around his neck, which was later seen tucked into the pocket of his sweatpants as he hugged conservator Melba Wilson.
Despite the hot Big Apple weather, Markle brought a wardrobe of thick winter coats and jackets for all their engagements, thick enough to hide any microphone.
Sources who know the Sussexes say they also collected footage from their Archewell Foundation archives.

Markle collaborated with producer David Furnish, husband of Sir Elton John, on the adventures of a 12-year-old girl in the animated series, the working title “Pearl”.
In December, they announced another multi-million dollar deal with Spotify for the Archewell Audio podcast, which they said would include podcasts and programming that “uplifts and entertains audiences around the world.”
Spotify said the full series will launch in 2021, but in September the couple had only released one special holiday in December starring their son Archie and Elton John.
Harry recently appeared in a six-episode series alongside Oprah Winfrey on the mental health of + Apple TV named “I can not see him. “
As Page Six exclusively revealed, Harry also signed a huge contract for his memoir – and as part of the deal he’s collaborating with Markle in a book on “Leadership”.
The couple took to the stage on Saturday Afternoon at a Global Citizen Live event in Central Park, where they are called upon to match the COVID-19 vaccine.
