“Prince Harry and Meghan will return to America as soon as possible to see their children Archie and Lilibet,” British media reported shortly after Queen Elizabeth’s state funeral. After nearly three weeks abroad, the couple return to Montecito, California, where Meghan’s mother Doria recently looked after the children.
The prince and his wife arrived in the UK on Saturday 3 September for a short trip to visit various charities. However, due to the Queen’s death on Thursday 8 September, their stay was extended so that they could attend some ceremonies and Elizabeth’s state funeral. Eventually, Harry and Meghan were overseas for 17 days.
