This weekend is the first where the nightclubs in Oslo have had normal opening hours since March 12. The police confirm that it has been a very busy weekend with lots of fills and noises.
According to Operation Manager André Kråkenes in the Oslo Police District, the police logged around 170 incidents in Oslo, Asker and Bærum night through Saturday. Night to Sunday it was a little quieter.
– The virus is as contagious and disease-causing as before. And, in practice, the population is as immune as before. That is why we must all continue to take the prevention measures seriously, says the prime minister.
She emphasizes that if the infection situation worsens, measures must be reconsidered.
