Prime Minister of Ukraine called the protests in the country part of the information war

“Those events that took place yesterday are a consequence of, among other things, the information war that continues with regard to our country both internally and externally,” the head of government in the Verkhovna Rada said.

In his opinion, “provocations” will continue, and “the information field will continue to swing.”

Goncharuk also noted that the authorities did everything to keep the evacuated citizens safe.

Ukrainian authorities evacuated from China 45 Ukrainians and 27 foreigners. The operation escalated into riots and clashes with the police.
