PRIMARY DEMOCRATS – Biden tells a worker in Michigan a liar

White House Democratic candidate Joe Biden told a factory worker in Detroit that he was “a liar” on Tuesday in a heated exchange over gun control while campaigning in Michigan’s primary.

Images shared by journalists, and amplified by Biden rival Bernie Sanders and by supporters of Republican President Donald Trump, showed the former vice president discussing with a worker at a plant under construction by Fiat Chrysler.

In the video, the man can be heard accusing Biden of “actively trying to lower our right to the Second Amendment and take our weapons away.”

To which Biden responds immediately: “You are a liar (You’re full of shit). I support the Second Amendment,” and adds that he has his own 12-gauge shotgun.

“Only you are not allowed to have any weapon. I will not remove the weapon,” Biden adds.

The worker then states that Biden had said in a video that it went viral that he was going to seize the weapons.

“I didn’t say that! I didn’t say that!” Biden replies, raising his voice, and adding that the video was “like the others that came out” that were “lies.”

The round trip continued until a union leader drove away the worker he was discussing.

Biden, a favorite in the internal Democrat, hopes to win a decisive victory on Tuesday against Sanders, a self-styled “democratic socialist,” when Michigan and five other states vote on a new appointment of party primaries to choose who will contest the re-election to Trump in the November elections.

The former right-wing Barack Obama has already received criticism for other expletives during the election campaign. In February, he lashed out at a student who questioned him in New Hampshire, calling her “a liar, dog-faced pony soldier,” apparently a joke taken from John Wayne’s films.

Also in December 2019 he told an 83-year-old farmer during a rally in Iowa: “You’re a damn liar (You’re a damn liar).” This, after the man assured that he is “too old” to be a candidate for the presidency and questioned the work of his son Hunter in a gas company in Ukraine.
