Chihuahua.- The entry into the country of the Sixth Winter Storm of the season, could generate as of next Tuesday a marked drop in temperature in much of the state of Chihuahua, as well as snow or sleet fall in the Sierra Tarahumara

According to the forecast of the National Meteorological Service, this phenomenon will interact with the new cold front 29 and the drag of humidity from an atmospheric river.

As it passes through the state, it could also generate strong winds and an increase in the potential for strong point rains, from 25 to 50 millimeters.

The State Coordination of Civil Protection announced that from the afternoon of this Monday, a change in the environment will begin to register, with wind of 10 to 25 kilometers per hour (km / h) for the municipalities of the northern zone, with gusts that can exceed 65 km / h particularly in Juárez and 55 km / h in part of the northwest, southwest and south regions.

For Tuesday, the Sixth Winter Storm will favor an environment from very cold to cold in the morning and from cool to warm in the afternoon, cloudy skies, wind from 10 to 25 km / h, with gusts that can exceed 75 km / h in the municipalities of Juárez, Janos and Madera.

In Temósachic, Guerrero Ahumada, Buenaventura, Ocampo, Guachochi, Cuauhtémoc and Jiménez, the gusts could reach up to 55 km / h; they would be above 45 km / h in Chihuahua and Parral, and dust dusts could be generated in the road sections of Sueco-Ahumada, Ascensión-Juárez and Jiménez-Parral.

Rainfall could occur in the afternoon, night or early morning, in the municipalities of Bocoyna, Guachochi, and Guadalupe and Calvo; from isolated to dispersed in Juárez, Ahumada, Madera, Buenaventura, Guerrero, Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Balleza, Parral and Jiménez; as well as snow or sleet in Janos and in the higher parts of the sierra.

In addition, sleet fall is forecast in Ciudad Juárez for the early hours of Wednesday, as an effect of said meteorological phenomenon.
