The Grasu family is important in emergency medicine. Dr. Cristian Grasu is a doctor and secretary of state in the Ministry of Health. Dr. Alis Grasu is the head of the Bucharest-Ilfov Ambulance Service (SABIF).
In 2010, Alis and Cristian Grasu founded the Bucharest Rescue Society Association. However, “România liberă” discovered that the organization was used by the Grasu family to attract sponsorships from companies that had contracts with the Bucharest-Ilfov Ambulance Service.
