KIEL, GERMANY – The SegelCamp Powered by Stadtwerke Kiel will host a season-ending event on Friday, September 19, 2025, marking the close of its 2025 sailing program and a changing of the guard for key city officials. Media representatives are invited to cover the event,which includes a student sailing demonstration and a symbolic “tax bike handover” from sailing children to city representatives.
This year’s event holds particular significance as it will be the final official appearance for Mayor Dr. Ulf Kämpfer and Kiel Marketing Managing Director Uwe Wanger, both of whom will be embarking on new roles in 2026. The event offers a retrospective on the season, highlights key moments, and provides a preview of plans for the 2026 season. The joint project is a collaboration between the state capital Kiel, Stadtwerke Kiel AG, and Kiel-marketing GmbH.
