The presidential election results will fall, for the first round on Sunday April 10, 2022, from 8 p.m. Before this deadline, a look back at the 2017 results and the candidates who came out on top in the cities of Seine-Saint-Denis.
Jean-Luc Mélenchon in the lead, Emmanuel Macron ten points behind
In the first round of 2017, the LFI candidate Jean-Luc Melenchon was in the lead department-wide, with 34%. Emmanuel Macron (LREM) came second with 24% while Marine Le Pen (FN) completed the podium with 14%. The abstention was at 27.5%.

In total, Jean-Luc Mélenchon came first in 30 municipalities out of 40, with a score of up to 45.5% in Ile-Saint-Denis. Emmanuel Macron came first in six cities, with a maximum of 29.2% at Noisy le Grand. Marine Le Pen was twice at the head of the first, with in particular 27.3% at Hello. On the LR side, François Fillon also finished twice in pole position, with a record of 34.4% in Raincy.
In the second round, Emmanuel Macron beat Marine Le Pen everywhere.
