Confederate presidential candidate Krzysztof Bosak in the age group 18-29 gained 21.7 percent support – according to a late poll poll. This is over three times more than its result among all voters. Students on TVN24 GO discussed the success of Bosak among young people.

According to Ipsos late poll, incumbent president Andrzej Duda gained 42.9 percent support in the first round. Rafał Trzaskowski, a candidate of the Civic Coalition, came second with the support of 30.3 percent of respondents. The podium closes the independent candidate Szymon Hołownia, who scored 14 percent.

Krzysztof Bosak came in fourth with support of 6.9 percent. Krzysztof Bosak took third place – after Rafał Trzaskowski and Szymon Hołownia – in the 18-29 age group, receiving 21.7 percent of the vote.

“In this campaign, the image looked the best”
The success of Bosak among young voters was discussed by students in a special election program on TVN24 GO.

– It seems to me that young society sees a certain change, a departure from the main dominant parties. They feel the freshness that can be introduced – said Dorota Wrocławska from the Lazarski University.

Julia Smogorzewska, a student at the University of Warsaw, said that Bosak “presented the best image in this campaign.” – But when it comes to views, his image did not quite correspond to what he presented and what his party presents. There was a big dissonance between who he really could be and how voters see him. They see him as someone well-dressed, who can present himself well, say something to young people that can attract them – she noted.

“Utilized the dissatisfied PiS electorate who wanted a sharper direction”
Hubert Sosnowski, a student of the University of Warsaw and the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University said that the Confederation’s candidate “presents himself well, answers questions directly, does not do what other candidates do, i.e. he does not try to have such a program and message so as not to offend anyone, did not scare him. “

– He speaks directly and is good at presenting himself. However, as we look at the program, it turns out that a large part of its voters will not like it – added Sosnowski.

According to Tomasz Ochocki from the Lazarski University, Bosak “managed the dissatisfied PiS electorate, which wanted a sharper direction on certain issues.”

– Krzysztof Bosak represents just such views, concerning, for example, the European Union, as well as in the area of national values, family values. It gives a very clear and clear message that goes to a group that was undeveloped. This is a success for Krzysztof Bosak. The Confederation has succeeded in making the political force uncompromising in its views. Voters of this group appreciate it – said the student.
