PRAGUE The epidemiological situation in Prague has deteriorated due to the candidacy for governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region, who should go to the capital on Thursday for a debate on Czech television. In addition to the current governor, the letter for T was signed by seven other leaders of the big parties.
Captain Ivo Vondrk (YES) wants to move the debate from the capital to the Ostrava studio of T. The Prague traffic light of the Ministry of Health has fallen into a red color.
We consider it really problematic to have to travel for long hours to Prague and back at a time when Prague is first a high-risk city of covid-19 and when it is very limited, the party candidates in a joint letter to the deputy editor-in-chief of Czech television news, Frantisek Lutonsky.
We gave all the people to the regional elections in MSK T24 in order to meet them and organize the debate in the studio in Ostrava. The reason is no longer obvious. In addition to Vondrek, the letter includes Jakub Unucka (ODS), Zuzana Klusov (Pirti), Luk Curylo (KDU-SL), Petr Kajnar (SSD), Josef Babka (KSM), Vladimr Tanck (Mayor for the Region) and Jan Lipner ( TENT). Apart from the SPD, these are all parties in the regional council.

Candidate Pirt Klusov posted on Twitter, when she wrote that everyone has to go to the epicenter of the virus infection in Prague.
The debate should take place from 8:05 pm in the broadcast news channel T 24. According to the Lidovky.cz server, there was also a variant of a full boycott of the debate on the table, but there was not enough agreement among the candidates on this procedure.
The epidemiological situation in Prague and its surroundings is currently the worst in the country. In the capital city there are 195 inhabitants per hundred thousand inhabitants, in the district of Prague-entrance it is more than two hundred. Ostrava, on the other hand, records 78 positive cases for the same number of people.
