According to the Blue House, President Moon visits the Corona 19 Disaster Safety Countermeasure Headquarters in Mapo-gu and receives a report on the plan to conduct vaccinations at nursing hospitals and facilities from the Commissioner of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Then, Sang-cheol Oh, the head of the Mapo-gu health center, received a briefing on the Mapo-gu vaccination plan.

Following the guidance of Director Oh, President Moon checked the vaccination preparations in the following order: registration and waiting for vaccinations → pre-diagnosis and vaccine preparation → vaccination → adverse reaction observation room → intensive observation room.

President Moon will watch the vaccinations of Kim Yun-tae (60, doctor), director of Nexon Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital, and Lee Jeong-sun (32), an occupational therapist at the Municipal Western Elderly Care Center, who receive the vaccination for the first time on this day. Hospital Director Kim became the ‘1st inoculation’.

The Blue House side explained President Moon’s visit to the public health center as “to encourage frontline health center staff devoted to quarantine and vaccination, and to request safe and prompt vaccination.”
