President Joe Biden Falls on Stage During US Air Force Event

The American president, who opened a ceremony of the US Air Force in Colorado, fell on the stage. Several soldiers helped him up.

A remarkable stage exit. This Thursday afternoon, the President of the United States was the victim of a fall, without gravity, during an event of the American air forces in Colorado.

Just after finishing his inaugural speech at the US Air Force Academy graduation in northern Colorado Springs, Joe Biden stumbled while trying to jog off the stage. Very quickly, several soldiers and members of his security service rushed to the 80-year-old man to help him get up and return to his place, to the applause of the public present on the spot.

“He’s fine. There was a sandbag on the stage while he was shaking hands,” White House communications director Ben LaBolt said on Twitter.

This misadventure of Joe Biden, apparently unusual or even anecdotal, is already fueling the debate around the age of the president, candidate for his own succession to the presidency of 2024, which supporters of Donald Trump, 76, do not cease to point out.
