President Giammattei receives diplomatic letters from 10 ambassadors

In a ceremony held at the National Palace of Culture, President Alejandro Giammattei received the credentials of ten ambassadors who will begin their negotiations in Guatemala. During the day, the diplomats held a conversation with the president and Foreign Minister Pedro Brolo, who affirmed that, with this action, the ties of friendship and cooperation between these nations with Guatemala are reaffirmed.

THE DIPLOMATS

Marie-Christine Thèhodore, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, whose last position was head of the Humanitarian Aid Division of the Department for the Stabilization of Humanitarian Aid, of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which she has held since 2015.

Remo Moretta, Ambassador of the Commonwealth of Australia who, prior to assuming office, served as Deputy Secretary for European Trade and Brexit, Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Cheppy Triprakoso Wartono, representative of the Republic of Indonesia who was secretary general of the AMPG Central Executive, 2001-2016.

Elisabeth Kehrer, from the Republic of Austria, her last position held was as Director of the Department of the Americas (December 2017).

Terèzia Sajgalìkovà, for the Slovak Republic, held positions in the embassies of the Slovak Republic in the United States, Brazil and Mexico, as well as in the Delegation of the European Union in Mexico, where she worked on issues related to the strengthening of investments and in clean energy production.


Paisan Rupanichikij from the Kingdom of Thailand. He arrived in the country after serving as Minister of the General Directorate for American and South Pacific Affairs, of the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization.

Haytham Hassan Mohammed Al-Malki, for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, served as Deputy Director of the Cabinet of His Highness, the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (March 2019-August 2020).

José E. Alpuche, Ambassador of Belize. Among the last positions held is as associate consultant on industry and business issues (2020). Also executive director of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture (2012).


Ramón Antonio Leva Bulne, Republic of Honduras. He served as departmental governor of Atlántida (2002-2006), deputy to the National Congress (2006-2010), as well as municipal councilor of La Ceiba (2019-2021).

Lastly, Demetrio R. Tuason, from the Republic of the Philippines. He served in 2013 as Chairman Emeritus and Treasurer of the Armscorp Company.
