Presenter Caroline Flack honored during annual Brit Awards | NOW

British comedian Jack Whitehall opened the Brit Awards on Tuesday with a speech about presenter Caroline Flack, who died on Saturday. He said Flack was “part of the Brit Awards family” and found her a “warm personality.”

“During the weekend we discovered the terrible news that a member of the Brit Awards family, our friend Caroline Flack, has passed away,” Whitehall, who presented the show for the second time this year, began his speech.

“She was a warm and colorful personality, with an infectious sense of pleasure. She will be missed terribly. I’m sure I will speak for everyone here if I say our thoughts are with her family and friends.” Since 2011, Flack has attended the most important British music award ceremony eight times in succession.

Flack put an end to her life on 15 February at the age of forty. The British ones include Love island and X Factor was discredited in December after she was arrested on suspicion of assaulting her boyfriend. She would appear in court on March 4 for this case.
