Premier Inn expands middle management: day pass

For further expansion in Germany Premier Inn the management of its hotels is divided into four clusters and a manager assigned to each area. When the portfolio is expanded, new hotels should be able to be effectively integrated into the organization and launched quickly.

Great plans for the German hotel market

With the flagship hotel in Hamburg St. Pauli, Premier Inn recently opened its 21st hotel and thus achieved the target of at least 20 hotels in Germany by the end of the year (Tageskarte reported). The company has secured 33 additional locations in Germany.

Carina Lenzen takes over the position of Area General Manager for Premier Inn Hotels in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Dresden, Essen, Hamburg City (center) as well as Cologne and Leipzig. In addition, Lenzen remains active as a hotel manager at the Premier Inn Düsseldorf City Ost. Born in Frankfurt, she has already held a wide range of positions for the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotel brands in the course of her career. The mother of two children and a master’s degree in tourism management has also expanded her expertise in revenue management and business development.

Carsten Riga As Cluster Manager, he is responsible for the four other Premier Inn hotels in Hamburg and also retains the role of hotel manager in the recently opened hotel in Hamburg St. Pauli. Riga worked for the Riu Hotels in Portugal for 15 years and was most recently Cluster Hotel Manager for several Holiday Inn Express properties in Hamburg.

Miriam saalmann Premier Inn looks after hotels as a cluster manager in Baden-Württemberg, including in Freiburg and Heidelberg as well as two hotels in Stuttgart-Feuerbach and in the Europaviertel. At the Premier Inn Heidelberg City (center), Saalmann will continue to act as hotel manager. The trained hotel specialist was previously Director of Sales at the Crowne Plaza Heidelberg City Center and previously a hotel manager for Holiday Inn Express.

Chris Weston is Area General Manager for Premier Inn Hotels in the Hessian and Bavarian region. These include the two hotels in Frankfurt and others in Munich and Nuremberg as well as the two acomhotels in Nuremberg and in Munich-Haar, which will be brought to Premier Inn standards by the beginning of next year. A native of England, Weston has worked for a number of UK hospitality brands including Premier Inn, Generator and Travelodge during his career.
