Prabowo Meets Qatar Emir Amid Israel Attack Solidarity

Indonesian ⁢President Prabowo​ Subianto expresses Solidarity wiht Qatar in doha Visit

Doha,Qatar – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto arrived in​ doha on​ Friday at 3:20 p.m. local time⁤ for a ⁣meeting ​with the Emir of⁢ Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, in the wake of recent Israeli attacks. The visit underscores ‌Indonesia’s strong support for Qatar ⁣following the​ Tuesday, September 9th​ airstrike​ on Doha.

upon arrival at Hamad International Airport, president Prabowo was greeted ‍by Qatar’s Defense Minister Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Bin Hassan Bin Ali Al-Thani, Indonesian Ambassador to Qatar Ridwan ⁤Hassan, adn Indonesian Defense Attaché Colonel Tengku Sony Sonatha. ⁣A formal guard of honor ⁢was‌ presented before the‍ President departed for Lusail Palace.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, speaking from Doha,​ confirmed the primary focus of ⁢the ‍trip was⁤ a ‌direct meeting with the⁤ Emir. “Today, President Prabowo flew to Doha to meet directly with the emir,” ⁤Wijaya stated.”His visit is a clear demonstration‍ of Indonesia’s support for the government⁣ and people of​ Qatar.”

President Prabowo had previously conveyed his concerns regarding the incident to Sheikh Tamim in a ⁤phone call on ‍wednesday,​ September 10th, inquiring about Qatar’s well-being ⁤and reiterating ⁤Indonesia’s dedication to Qatar’s sovereignty‍ and regional‌ peace.

Beyond expressing ‍solidarity,​ the discussions between ​President Prabowo and the Emir are⁣ also expected to center ​on⁣ strengthening bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and⁢ Qatar, with the aim of collaboratively addressing global challenges ‍and‍ deepening their longstanding relationship.
