Police will reopen all exits toll of Central Java on Sunday evening along with the last day of the implementation of the extension of the application of restrictions on community activities (PPKM).
The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Pol. Iqbal Alqudusy, in a press release in Semarang, Sunday, said that motorized vehicles can now enter the 27 exit gates of the Central Java toll road starting at 18.00 WIB.
He added that the opening was also an agreement from the local government coordination forum.
Even though the 27 toll gates were reopened, he continued, his party continued to block vehicles.
“The blockade at 244 points in various regions will continue to be enforced,” said Pol Kombes Iqbal Alqudusy.
Therefore, he expects people to stay at home and reduce mobility in an effort to reduce the number of COVID-19 cases.
Previously, the closure of 27 toll exits in Central Java was decided to be extended until July 25, 2021.
The extension is in line with the extension of the PPKM period until July 25, 2021.
