Poso Terrorist Leader Ali Kalora Killed in Shootout

The leader of the East Indonesia Mujahideen terrorist group (MIT) in Poso, Central Sulawesi, Ali Ahmad alias Ali Kalora died in a gun battle.

They were killed in a shootout between the Madago Raya task force and members of a group on the terrorist Wanted List (DPO), in the Mountains of Astina Village, Torue District, Parigi Moutong Regency, Saturday (18/9) at 17:20 WITA.

Apart from Ali Kalora, one of its members also died, namely Jaka Ramadhan alias Ikrima.

“It is true that there have been gun battles in the Astina, Torue, Parigi Moutong areas with the Poso terrorist DPO. As a result of this contact, two suspected Poso terrorists were killed. Both are suspected to be Ali Kalora and Jaka Ramadhan,” explained Danrem 132 Tadulako Brigadier General Farid Makruf, in his statement. , Saturday (18/9).

With these two dead, the Task Force is still hunting for four people who are still on the DPO, namely Askar alias Jaid alias Pak Guru, Nae alias Galuh alias Mukhlas, Rukli, and Suhardin alias Hasan Pranata.

Previously, Ali Kalora was called by the authorities as the leader of the East Indonesia Mujahideen terrorist group in Poso. He inherited the stick of leadership from Santoso, who died first.
