The hockey players of Slavia won the lead of Poruby 1-0 in the overture of the 29th round of the first league on the ice and moved behind it to the second place, where they only have a worse score. After two defeats, the extra-league Kladno took over, which defeated Přerov 3: 2 at home in the finished match of the 2nd act. In the only match of the originally planned 8th round, the newcomer from Šumperk won in Prostějov 4: 3, and in the 6th act overtime, Benátky nad Jizerou defeated Kolín 5: 4.
Slavia celebrated her sixth victory in a row and hesitated only in the opening round, when she lost to Ústí nad Labem 1: 3 at home. Petr Kafka scored the only goal of the match in Ostrava in the eighth minute in a power play. Thanks to 26 interventions, goalkeeper Martin Michajlov kept his account clean for the second time this season.
Kladno was given the lead in the fifth minute by the first competition goal for the Knight, the American defender Zachary Frey, a summer reinforcement from Kalamazoo from ECHL. Jakub Kubeš equalized in the second period, but in the 35th minute Tomáš Pitule returned the lead to Středočechy in the power play, who adjusted to 3: 1 in three minutes. In the 49th minute, Tadeáš Král increased the lead to 4: 1 in an overpowering game. Thanks to the goals of Petr Mrázek and the numerical advantage of David Bartoš, the home team came into contact, but they were no longer able to avert defeat.
For the first time since September 23, when he played at home with Prostějov (2: 3 in overtime), another newcomer from Kolín returned after quarantine. In the match full of turns, the home team led 2: 0 in the middle of the opening period thanks to the goals of Kryštof Hrabík and Jaroslav Vlach, who used the power play. However, the guests immediately erased the loss after the goals of Jakub Husa and Zdeněk Král.
