Portugal signed their third victory in three matches in the League of Nations by defeating Poland (3-1) on Saturday in Warsaw. The author of the 2-0, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 133rd goal for the selection.
In the 37th minute, CR7 successfully received a shot from Rafael Leao that was pushed back by the post. Bernardo Silva had opened the scoring for the Seleçao a few minutes earlier (26th). In the second half, Poland reduced the score through Piotr Zielinski (78th) before conceding an own goal.
Portugal are three points ahead of Croatia at the top of Group 1 of League A. The Croats for their part beat Scotland 2-1 thanks to goals from Igor Matanovic and Andrej Kramaric.
