Visitors who reside abroad and are planning their holidays in Portugal can now take out Portugal Travel Insurance, a travel insurance adapted to the new pandemic reality caused by covid-19, announced Turismo de Portugal.
The initiative is promoted by RNA Seguros de Assistência, and is available at portugaltravelinsurance.com, says Turismo de Portugal in a statement.
The coverage extends to the entire Portuguese territory and includes, in particular, medical, surgical, pharmaceutical and hospital expenses associated with covid-19, as well as expenses for cancellation, interruption or extension of the trip, also due to the same pandemic.
