Villanova Guard Wooga Poplar Signs with Chicago Bulls on Exhibit 10 Contract
CHICAGO,IL – June 28,2025 – Philadelphia native and Villanova guard Wooga Poplar has agreed to a deal with the Chicago Bulls following the 2025 NBA Draft [[2]]. The signing was first reported by Jon Chepkevich of Draft Express.
Poplar, who completed his senior season at Villanova after transferring from the University of Miami, averaged 15.3 points and a team-leading 7.0 rebounds per game for the Wildcats during the 2024-25 season [[2]]. He also shot 38.7% from three-point range and earned Third Team All-BIG EAST honors.
The Bulls signed Poplar to an Exhibit 10 contract,a non-guaranteed deal that can be converted into a two-way contract [[2]], [[3]]. Chicago also added Caleb Grill on a two-way contract following the draft [[1]], [[3]]. Players on Exhibit 10 contracts who spend at least 60 days in the G League are eligible for a $75,000 bonus [[2]].
