The day after her resignation from the post of Minister of Health to become a LREM candidate for mayor of Paris, Agnès Buzyn spoke to the press, not without emotion. She who led this ministry for two and a half years.
“Leaving this ministry is a heartbreak. I have had the honor of leading health and social policies in our country. I have often said it: this ministry is that of the construction of the bond, the one that gives everyone their place in the community of destinies. It is in the first sense the ministry of care, and therefore of the sense“, she said in particular, before paying tribute to all the actors in the health world who care for sick people on a daily basis.”I have a thought full of gratitude for all those who, every day, work in the service of the sick and commit themselves to the most fragile of our fellow citizens. I want to say thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.“
