The vehicle was last seen at the Freiburg-Mitte interchange and then lost from sight again. The search with several police patrols was unsuccessful.
About two hours later, around 11:30, another message was sent with reference to the vehicle, which was then stopped at the Friborg-Mitte branch.
It turned out that the 44-year-old van driver does not have a driving license: he also showed clear signs of not being fit to drive, which is why a blood sample was taken from him. It is suspected that he was driving the vehicle under the influence of drugs.
