Police operation: Wild chase of an 18-year-old across the Vienna Woods

An 18-year-old from St. Pölten without a driver’s license, who was suspected of being under the influence of drugs, and a 21-year-old from Kirchstettner broke a roadblock on their curse across the Vienna Woods.

WIENERWALD. A wild chase broke out on Saturday night shortly before midnight when the Altlengbach autobahn police turned an Audi off the autobahn because of excessive speed on the A1 in Altlengbach. The 18-year-old St. Pöltner stepped on the gas with his 21-year-old passenger from Kirchstetten. Stopped on the Großrahm, the driver, who was suspected of being under the influence of drugs, fled again and collided with the police vehicle. After the Pressbaum exit, he raced over Rekawinkel, Eichgraben, Burgstall and Paisling until he broke a temporary road block by the Neulengbach police on the B19 at Grabensee by driving towards the police and ramming two other police cars. After another rally over red lights through St.Pölten, it was stopped after about an hour on the Kremser Landstrasse.

“In addition, prohibited weapons were found in the vehicle of the driver who does not have a driver’s license and who had his passenger’s license plate mounted on the unauthorized vehicle.” said group inspector Raimund Schwaigerlehner from LPD St. Pölten.
