Cristiano Ronaldo may have to report to the police, following an incident during the game between Manchester United and Everton.

The Portuguese snatched a phone from the hands of a young supporter after the Mancunians lost at Goodison Park.
The incident caused a stir on social media, and Ronaldo issued his apology hours later. The Manchester United club said it was looking into the matter which could have repercussions as Liverpool police have opened an investigation.
The Red Devils, still in the race for the top 4 and the Champions League, lost 1-0 to Everton who are fighting to maintain it. Frustrated after suffering fouls from his opponents during the game, Ronaldo couldn’t contain his emotions and punched the phone of an Everton fan who was filming him.
He later apologized on Instagram, saying that “even in difficult times, you should always behave respectfully and be an example for young people. “I would like to apologize for this overflow and, if possible, invite the supporter to follow a match at Old Trafford as a sign of fair play and sportsmanship,” he concluded.
